Thank you for your interest in supporting the League of Women Voters! The League of Women Voters of  The Bay Area (LWVBA) is an all-volunteer, non-partisan organization and a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  Your donation will support our work to empower and educate voters, protect women's rights and defend democracy. Together we can ensure that our elections are free, fair and accessible, protect our environment and reduce the influence of money in our elections.

Donations may be made to the General Fund or designated for a specific program or fundraising campaign: 

• General Fund: Donations will be used where needed most.

• Dues Assistance Fund: These donations help our League provide education on Bay Area ballot measures, and regional governance studies and observation.

• Fundraising /Annual Appeal: These donations are made in response to special fundraising campaigns.

 

Note: For specific program designations, donations received above the amount required for the program may be redirected to the General Fund by the LWVBA Board.

To donate online:

1. Click the "Donate" button above. (Note: LWVBA uses PayPal to process online credit card donations. You do not need a PayPal account to donate online.)

2. Select the Amount of the donation.

3. Select the appropriate Donation Designation from the drop-down.

4. Click Next, select your payment method, and click Donate Now.

 

To donate by check download our check form:

1. Please make your check payable to: League of Women Voters Bay Area.

2. Include your name, email address and your donation designation (e.g. General Fund, Scholarship Fund). 

3. Mail your check to:
